Get ye to Walgreens!

This coupon is good on Friday 9/13 and Saturday 9/14. Go here to get it!!
As always, remember that this coupon can only be used on purchases over $40--after manufacturer's coupons. And since last time there was some trouble, I just say to play it safe and make sure your purchase equals $40 after all coupons, including Walgreen's coupons.

I'm going to buy diapers, body wash for men (rebate and coupon in easy saver booklet at stores), the Rocking Horse (also a rebate item), Dove chocolates and an ink cartridge refill for my printer.

COUPON GIVEAWAY!

Hey everyone! I have a surplus of coupons and am giving away over $100.00 in coupons this week to 1 lucky winner. All that is required is that you leave a comment here with your favorite saving site. Be sure to include your email so I can contact you. Just a note: all of these coupons came from the last 2 weeks of inserts, and also include the highly coveted $10.00 rebate from Kellogg's. Why don't I want that one? Well I already participated once and would feel guilty doing it twice.....I guess I believe in the one per household rule. Contest ends on Friday September 12th at 10:00 am. I will draw a winner from random number generator and email the winner on Friday! Good Luck!!

CVS today

Well I escaped the house with no kids - not even the baby! I made the most of my short time....I bought 2 cover girl lipsticks, 3 cans of pringles, claritan, a slip and slide and 2 Colgate toothpastes all for only 10.17 Plus I transferred hubby's prescription and got a 25.00 gift card.

Here's the breakdown:
2 cover girl lipsticks, 9.99 each
3 cans of pringles .88 each
claritan 8.99
a slip and slide 2.99 on clearance orginally 19.99!!
2 Colgate toothpastes 2.99 each

Total before sales and coupons 53.16
Cover girl is B1G1 free and I had a coupon for B1G1 from this Sundays paper so both were free, .30 of the Pringles, 3.00 off the claritan, and 1.00 +.75 off the toothpastes.
Used 5.00 ECB's and spent 10.16 plus I have 5 more ECB's to use later the month.

So far my Summer spending is 92.10 and my savings are 165.10! I am still in shock at how easy these savings have been to attain, and the surplus we have here is so handy. I have in the container now 8 bottles of shampoo, 3 tubes of toothpaste, gobs of razors and shaving cream, 3 deoderants, and various other things I can't remember. All of us love having the container here and not running to the store when we are out of a personal product. The kids like picking out their stuff from it too! Even hubby likes is liking it! Have a good week!
