So where did the month go? It went to the baseball fields, piano recitals, and work. I went back to work 5 days a week the same month 2 of my kids started baseball. Time has flown by and I apologize for not keeping you up to date on savings. I have been following the deals using the links to the right. You should check out Coupon Geeks' new site. It is awesome. I highly suggest you bookmark her as I will most likely not be posting again until early June when my schedule goes back to 2 work days and the kids are out of school.
Keep saving those pennies!!

Earth Hour
EARTH HOUR
Turn out. Take action.
Be part of this historic event.
March 28, 2009
8:30 pm local time
World Wildlife Fund is asking individuals, businesses, governments and organizations around the world to turn off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour - to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.
Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Coliseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.
In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community - A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.
We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.
VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour.
Turn out. Take action.

Say it isn't so!!
Deal Seeking Mom has a post here with the news we all have been dreading. I have seen internet rumors of Walgreens cancelling their Easy Saver Program and now it has been confirmed as true. This is a real disappointment to me since I have gotten back over $50.00 in rebates from Walgreens in the first quarter of 2009. I hope their new program is as good to us loyal Wags customers as Easy Saver was.
